The Fish Tale has a great Happy Hour special all appetizers and oyster bar are 50% off.
They have an excellent dinning room, outdoor patio, oyster bar & bar area, and a private party room called the “wine room”.
The fish and chips were excellent! The fish was light and flakey. You could tell right away they use fresh fish, not frozen.
I love their presentation on the cob salad.
As the oldest seafood restaurant in Long Beach. The Fish Tale has been a great place for seafood for over 30 years. I found the nautical decor and fish aquariums really cool. The staff was very friendly and informative about the food. The full bar and a nice wine list will definitely bring me back for to try out the Happy Hour during the week. The one thing that stood out to me is this is a 5th generation family run business and a lot of the staff has been working there for over 10 years. I could tell the owner really cares about his staff and business and it comes through in the food and customer service. Overall great food and customer service. I will be coming back for those fish and chips!
