A rollicking Long Beach tradition returns Saturday, February 18, 2012 as Shoreline Village hosts a great day of music, art, festivities, and more as we once again welcome young and old alike to dress up, dance, and make merry along Long Beach’s beautiful Rainbow Harbor! The group behind last year’s Long Beach Mardi Gras has teamed with Shoreline Village and Long Beach Cinematheque to bring a Mardi Gras event that incorporates and celebrates long-standing traditions across the globe, from Italy to Brazil to New Orleans, from parading to dancing to live music (from swing to samba), bead-throwing, and more! There’ll be something for everyone at this year’s event.
