This part of Alamitos bay is located off of Ocean Blvd on the Peninsula in Long Beach, CA. You can find parking on the side streets. I enjoy coming to this part of the bay because I find the sand and water cleaner than over at Horny Corner by Bayshore Ave.
The Long Beach Museum of Art is located at 2300 East Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90803. Hours are Thursday: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday – Sunday: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $7, but right now Fridays are Free!

Rancho Los Alamitos Historic Ranch and Gardens is located at 6400 Bixby Hill Road. To get there you need to enter a gated community that is right next to CSULB at the end of Palos Verdes. You will see a guard gate there. Just tell them you are there to see the Museum.
