The pandemic paused many social gatherings, and LAWineFest was no exception. That’s why the 16th annual LAWineFest is being hosted this year, 2022. Here’s what you can expect this year for LAWineFest 2022.
What Is LAWineFest?
LAWineFest is a local institution known for delivering a sun-kissed outdoor event balancing all things wine with education, exploration, and fun. Over the last 16 years, LAWineFest has blazed a trail in LA, bringing wine and people together in fun, inviting, and accessible ways.
The first LAWineFest was launched in 2006 by Dr. Joel M. Fisher, Sommelier for the Escoffier Association of Southern California. He later added the Santa Clarita WineFest in 2010 and OCWineFest in 2018. Today, Dr. Fisher contributes to the event as a Senior Wine Consultant, but he passed the torch to Scherr Lillico in 2020.

LAWineFest 2021 got great feedback regarding the Harry Bridges Memorial Park located near the Queen Mary. This year’s LAWineFest 2022 will take place in the exact location.
