Joe Jost’s

Joe Jost’s is a historic neighborhood bar on Anaheim Street in Zaferia, Long Beach, dating to 1924, when Joe Jost opened a barbershop with billiards in back. Regulars come for cold schooners of beer, pickled eggs and the house Joe’s Special. The old barber pole still stands out front, the bar stays cash only, and a photo wall shows regulars in their Joe Jost’s shirts around the world.
