Creative Art Events

Creative Art Events is a Long Beach nonprofit, founded in 2024, that brings together art, environmental awareness and community connection. It produces the annual Trashion Show, where designers of all ages create wearable art from discarded materials, plus a free Thrift Flip program that teaches youth sewing and upcycling. It also hosts community art classes, including sewing in parks, and locals can volunteer, enter as designers or donate.
