Historical Society of Long Beach

The Historical Society of Long Beach runs a museum, archive and research center in Bixby Knolls that collects and shares the city’s history. Its collection holds more than 150,000 photos plus maps, documents and artifacts, and it hosts rotating exhibits and an annual historic cemetery tour. Visitors can explore the exhibits, become members, volunteer or donate.
