California Families in Focus

California Families in Focus is a Long Beach nonprofit that supports young people facing systemic challenges through education, wellness, creative expression and leadership. Programs include the Kim Maddox Scholarship mentoring program for college students, the Hoops & Heroes basketball fundraiser and I Matter 2 Youth, which covers bullying and suicide prevention. Locals can donate, apply for the scholarship or give to its Spirit of Christmas holiday drive.
