Lauren’s Legacy Scholarship Foundation

Lauren’s Legacy Scholarship Foundation is a Long Beach nonprofit that awards college scholarships to young women ages 17 to 22 from underserved communities, mainly Black women and women of color. The family of Lauren Delayne Hicks founded it after her passing in 2023, and its awards help cover tuition, books and housing. Locals can donate or start a fundraiser.
