Moore Institute for Plastic Pollution Research

The Moore Institute for Plastic Pollution Research is a Long Beach nonprofit lab that studies how plastic pollution affects the environment and human health. It shares data with policymakers, businesses and educators, builds open tools like OpenSpecy and Trash AI, and tests for microplastics in water. It works with sister group Algalita on youth education and welcomes volunteers and donors.
