Phil Trani’s is an old-school restaurant in Bixby Knolls, Long Beach, opened in 1989 by Phil Trani, youngest of the San Pedro Trani brothers. The kitchen keeps things classic with prime meats and fresh fish. The room has long drawn sports figures and regulars, live music plays Thursday through Saturday nights, and happy hour runs midweek.
