Sowing Seeds of Change

Sowing Seeds of Change is a Long Beach nonprofit that trains transition-age youth, including young people with disabilities and foster youth, through hands-on sustainable farming. Participants build agricultural, culinary, environmental, and job skills at a farm site of more than five acres on the city’s north side. Locals can donate to support farm upkeep and new learning spaces.
