The Feminist Uprising

The Feminist Uprising is a queer, intersectional feminist nonprofit in Long Beach that works through mutual aid, education, creative resistance, and collective care. It hosts an annual Women’s Fair and Fierce Women Awards on Women’s Equality Day, Feminist Cafe pop-up discussions, a mutual aid maker’s market, and community gardens of medicinal plants. Locals can attend events or join the market.
